In Mabel's World, we get it. Many people, especially women, want the time to read multiple books a month. But with so many life commitments in today's busy world, this is a wish rather than a reality.
Our book club aims to ensure reading is a pleasurable pursuit, not a chore. We nurture the practice of regular reading while removing any guilt associated with not having the time to read multiple books at lightening speed.
That's why we read one book every two months, allowing space for us all to savour every word before we meet up virtually to discuss the book in-depth (sometimes with the author of the book in attendance!). Our membership is for a minimum of 12 months, which gives members 6 wonderful books to savour!
Whether you want to re-discover the enjoyment of a leisurely read, re-ignite your reading mojo, make new book friends in a relaxed, friendly, virtual atmosphere - or all of the above! - the Mabel's World Book Club has got you covered.

In Mabel’s World, we focus on emerging and established female authors in Australia, who write stories that resonate with women, or share their own story. Occasionally, we sneak in books from female authors around the globe too. Below is a taster of the genres we will explore.
